Improvement of Social Protection Services in Loznica

The city of Loznica has received support to improve social protection services through a project promoting social inclusion of children with developmental disabilities. The project, funded by the European Union and implemented in cooperation with SKGO, includes the introduction of new community services, including home assistance for fifteen children and socio-educational workshops for twenty children. Fifteen caregivers have been trained and certified, and the workshops are led by defectologists. The project also provides support to parents in overcoming daily challenges. The city has received a new hybrid vehicle to facilitate field activities. This project is the result of long-term efforts by the local government and the Svetionik association, aiming to build a society of equal opportunities and a dignified life for all citizens.
