During the past 24 hours, emergency medical teams in Kragujevac were very busy, responding to a total of 45 field calls, with 29 during the day shift and 16 during the night shift. A total of 71 adults were examined, with more examinations occurring at night, along with 19 pediatric examinations. The most common cases included high blood pressure, stomach ailments, heart problems, asthma, and cases of intoxication during the night. These figures clearly demonstrate the crucial role of emergency medicine in the functioning of the healthcare system during crisis moments.
