On June 15 in Belgrade, in the Karaburma neighborhood, three suspects falsely presented themselves as police officers and attacked a young woman. Darko K. (38), Nikola D. (42), and Jovana P. (21) approached the victim from behind, knocked her down, and under the pretext of a routine check demanded she take out all items from her pockets, allegedly searching for drugs. They took her mobile phone, money, and other personal belongings. A witness from the building recorded the incident and called the police, after which the suspects partially returned the stolen items. The First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade filed charges of robbery and false representation. The suspects were interrogated; Darko and Nikola partially admitted to the crimes, while Jovana denied them. The attack video was published on social media, and the police quickly responded and arrested the suspects.
