Cancelled Performance of Seka Aleksić and Rasta in Belgrade

The scheduled performance of Seka Aleksić and Stefan Đurić Rasta as part of the Red Bull Soundclash event, planned for June 28 in Belgrade, has been cancelled due to a planned protest on that day. Organizers stated that the safety of the audience and performers is a priority, and conditions do not allow for a safe event. The event was to be held for the third consecutive time in Belgrade and was planned as the most ambitious edition with spectacular production. Due to security risks and logistical challenges, the event has been postponed, and rescheduling to another date was not possible. Tickets will be refunded, and organizers apologize to the fans.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning outlets emphasize the importance of public safety and the organizers’ responsible decision to cancel the event due to the protest. They may also highlight the social context of the protest and the need for peaceful demonstrations.

Center: Center-leaning sources report the facts straightforwardly, focusing on the cancellation due to the protest and the logistical challenges. They provide balanced coverage without much editorializing.

Right: Right-leaning media might focus on the disruption caused by protests and the impact on cultural events, possibly criticizing the protestors for causing inconvenience and emphasizing the importance of law and order.
