A medical transport plane crashed near a shopping center in northeast Philadelphia, carrying a sick child, the child’s mother, and four other people. The “Learjet 55” went down near the Roosevelt Mall after departing from a local airport, while en route to a national airport in Missouri. Shriners Children’s stated that the child was supposed to be returned to Mexico. The company Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which operated the aircraft, reported that there were four people on board.
