AI Platform for Early Breast Cancer Detection Wins First Place at Start up Competition

At a start-up competition in Montenegro, an AI platform for early breast cancer detection developed by a student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Aleksandar Drašković, won first place. The platform uses artificial intelligence to assist radiologists in detecting breast cancer using local medical data, aiming to improve prevention and save lives in the region. Second and third places were awarded to innovative projects such as a smart pill dispenser and an application for secure property rental. The competition was organized by the University of Montenegro with support from numerous partners, aiming to strengthen student innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
