Professors and Students Abandon Protests in Front of Serbian Government: Ultimatum and Calls for Early Elections

For two weeks, professors and researchers have been protesting in front of the Serbian Government, but now they’re throwing in the towel and leaving the Nemanjina street intersection! Students aren’t backing down and have issued an ultimatum – either early parliamentary elections by June 28 or the protests continue! They demand the dissolution of parliament and the end of the gathering at Pionirski Park. Meanwhile, traffic in central Belgrade is blocked and citizens are left scratching their heads. Is this the beginning of the end for the protests or just the calm before a fiercer storm? Sound off – are you team professors and students or ready to call it quits already?
