What Iran Looked Like Before the Islamic Revolution and What Happened to Women Afterwards

Before the 1979 Islamic Revolution threw Iranian women into a dark medieval era, they wore miniskirts, bikinis, and walked without headscarves! Then Ayatollah Khomeini said: ‘Hijab is mandatory!’ Police forcibly removed scarves, and women had to cover their hair, neck, arms, and legs. Today, although over 60% of university students are women, freedom remains a dream – women are still under strict dress codes and repression. What do you think? Is this a fight for freedom or decades-long oppression? Comment and share your take on this clash between tradition and modernity!
