The Croatian U21 handball team got a cold shower at the World Championship – their first loss in the second phase against Sweden! Previously undefeated, they are now on the brink of elimination as only the top two teams advance to the quarterfinals. To make matters worse, they no longer depend solely on themselves! They must hope Portugal does not lose to Japan, then beat Japan with the right goal difference, while Sweden beats Portugal. Tin Baković scored a brilliant 15 goals, but it wasn’t enough.
