Oh, what a Middle East drama! The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has finally decided to set up a contact group with its 57 members to try to cool down the chaos between Israel and Iran. While Israel and Iran exchange blows, the OIC condemns “Israeli aggression” and calls for an immediate halt to attacks, while Iran continues to deny US strikes. Turkey, as if the drama wasn’t enough, claims Israel’s attacks are dragging the entire region into catastrophe. And to make things even crazier, Iranian General Esmail Qaani, who was reportedly targeted by Israeli strikes, was seen alive and well celebrating in Tehran! All this while hundreds march in Tehran supporting the Iranian military, and US President Donald Trump tries to declare a ceasefire. Who even knows what’s going on here?
