Tesla Cybertruck in Zagreb: Ugly, Dangerous, and Almost Invisible on European Roads

Picture this: driving instructor Krešimir Stunić, aka Trulac, cruising the streets of Zagreb when suddenly he spots a Tesla Cybertruck! Yes, you read that right – that futuristic, almost alien-looking pickup with Polish plates, looking like it rolled straight out of a sci-fi movie, roaming the Croatian capital. But is this really a good thing?

The Cybertruck is massive – nearly 5.7 meters long, 2.2 meters wide, and as tall as a small truck. Made from stainless steel and armored glass, it sounds like it’s ready for the apocalypse, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.

At first glance, this vehicle is ugly, even the instructor Trulac admitted that to his student. But ugliness isn’t the only problem. Its sharp, almost boxy edges and massive front panel raise serious safety concerns. Experts warn that a pedestrian hit at 40 km/h could suffer severe injuries due to the lack of crumple zones.

While the Tesla Cybertruck passed US safety tests with five stars, European standards are tougher, requiring softer surfaces and advanced automatic emergency braking systems optimized for pedestrian safety. That’s why seeing a Cybertruck on European roads is almost unheard of, and registering one in the EU is a nightmare.

There are rare cases where individuals managed to register a Cybertruck in the N2 vehicle category, but it’s a tough and complicated process. So, while the Cybertruck can tow massive loads and accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, its usability in Europe is questionable.

Is this the car of the future or just an expensive, impractical experiment? Some admire its performance and design, others see it as dangerous and unsuitable for European conditions. What about you? Would you dare to drive one around Zagreb or anywhere in Europe? Or is it better left in America, where it was born?

Drop your thoughts below – maybe we need the Cybertruck, or maybe it’s time to stick with tried-and-true cars. Who knows, your story might just be the next viral hit on social media!
