Veljko S. (18) was interrogated at the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade on suspicion of attempted murder in front of the Institute for Mental Health. Two participants in the blockade, E.J. and I.F., sustained minor injuries. The prosecution proposed detention due to the potential influence on witnesses, the risk of repeating the offense, and public disturbance. Veljko is charged with attempted aggravated murder because he drove his vehicle towards gathered citizens, consciously risking their lives.
