Jovana Jeremić, a well-known TV host and public figure, buried her father Miodrag Jeremić yesterday in their hometown of Ljig, right by the Ibarska Magistrala. Despite the overwhelming pain of loss, Jovana showed incredible professionalism by appearing on a morning show shoot the very same day. Her emotional Instagram message reveals just how much her father meant to her – he was her rock and the only male principle she ever truly had in life.
The Jeremić family home is located right next to a famous kafana on the Ibarska Magistrala in Ljig, where Jovana spent her childhood. Her parents were longtime restaurateurs, and Jovana grew up in the kafana, surrounded by big names from the public scene. Even with such a heavy loss, Jovana remained dignified and professional, surprising and touching many.
Vojislav Milošević, Jovana’s ex-husband, also emotionally said goodbye to Miodrag on social media, describing him as a good man and a great host. Although Jovana and Vojislav ended their marriage years ago, he was her biggest support during her father’s long illness.
