Solana ‘Bajo Sekulić’ Workers Block Ulcinj Highway Again – How Many Protests Will It Take?

Looks like the saga with the workers of Solana ‘Bajo Sekulić’ in Ulcinj is far from over! For the seventh time in a row, these persistent workers have decided to block the Ulcinj-Bar highway, and not just for a few minutes – but for a full two hours! Does anyone in power actually hear their pleas, or are they just waiting for the dust to settle?

This time, the blockade is scheduled between 11 AM and 1 PM in the village of Bratica, right next to Kips, and the police are ready to film every step of the protest, as if it’s some kind of reality show. Is this a sign that the authorities want to intimidate or just gather evidence of a “peaceful assembly”?

The workers are clearly exhausted by years of problems and injustice. They have already blocked the road seven times, and what has changed? Nothing! Their demands remain unmet, and citizens and drivers suffer because of these blockades. But is this the price to pay for justice?

The police announced they will monitor the protest and record participants, which only fuels tensions further. Is this the start of something bigger? Will the protests spread or will the authorities finally respond?

Meanwhile, while the authorities play cat and mouse, the workers of Solana ‘Bajo Sekulić’ continue to fight for their rights. And while the highway is blocked, the question remains – how many more protests will it take for someone to finally hear their voice?

If you have your own take or got stuck in traffic because of these blockades, feel free to drop a comment below. Maybe your word will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back!
