Have you ever experienced a poetry night that literally touches your soul? Well, the Mozzart Foundation has done it again! For the second time, they hosted Nebojša Milovanović, a renowned actor who took the audience on an emotional journey through the verses of some of the greatest Serbian poets. Accompanied by the musical duo Le Duo, featuring violin and piano, every poem came alive, and the audience listened almost breathlessly as poetry turned into a living experience.
The evening was filled with verses from Ljubomir Simović, Branislav Petrović, Miroslav Antić, Jovan Dučić, Matija Bećković, and many others, with every tone and word carrying the weight of emotion and the beauty of simplicity. Nebojša emphasized how great poetry is his inspiration and how the audience gives him strength to transcend time and space.
The Mozzart Foundation not only nurtures art but also provides the audience with a chance to pause, listen, and feel the beauty of words spoken with love. This cultural event proves that true art never loses its power.
And if you thought that was all, think again! The Mozzart Theatre Festival will close the season with four performances from June 29 to July 2, and entrance is completely free. It’s a chance to enjoy a rich cultural program including plays, poetry nights, concerts, lectures, and exhibitions.
