Welcome to Montenegro, the land where drivers today can expect a real adventure on the roads! AMSCG announced increased vehicle traffic, but that’s not even the worst news. On the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac, at the place called Sokolovina, traffic is completely stopped due to a rockfall. Yes, you read that right – rocks decided to block the road and no one can pass until the critical spot is fixed. But wait, there’s more! On road R16 Plužine – Virak, traffic will be closed at three different times during the day due to road resurfacing. The same story repeats on road R29 Bar – Kamenički most Krute, where traffic will be stopped at four different times. Main roads M2, M3, and M6 are no better – traffic moves on one lane alternately, controlled by traffic lights, or is fully stopped due to works and landslide repairs. In Podgorica, Vojsavljevića street is closed due to boulevard construction, and drivers are rerouted to alternative paths. Is this traffic chaos or a patience test? Probably both! And to make things worse, former workers of the Solana “Bajo Sekulić” plan to block the Ulcinj – Bar highway today from 11 AM to 1 PM. This is their seventh blockade, and police will monitor the situation. So, if you planned to travel through Montenegro today, better bring patience, good music, and maybe a sandwich – because you’re in for kilometers of traffic jams, closed roads, and total traffic meltdown. And hey, don’t forget to share your frustrations in the comments – maybe together we can survive this traffic apocalypse!
