Today, June 28th, Belgrade turned into a battlefield of chaos rarely seen! A gathering of violent blockaders, who openly announced their intent to use violence, officially started at 6 PM. These “blockaders” didn’t come for a peaceful protest – they came to destroy Serbia! On the streets of Kralja Milana and Pionirski Park, clashes erupted with police as blockaders hurled stones and other objects. The violence escalated so much that journalists were attacked and prevented from doing their jobs. Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and President Aleksandar Vučić publicly condemned the violence and addressed citizens at Pionirski Park, trying to calm the situation. The organizers openly called for violence, claiming they had a “green light” for their actions. All this is happening amid tension and uncertainty, as Belgrade turns into a battlefield between violent demonstrators and police. Is this the start of a new wave of chaos in Serbia?
