Ah, Belgrade, Belgrade! While the blockaders were causing chaos on the streets, President Aleksandar Vučić proudly stood in Pionirski Park, or as he likes to call it – ĆaćiLend, sending a clear message to the world: “In the end, Serbia always wins.”
But let’s clear things up. These blockaders, who dared to take to the streets without permission, had three times fewer people than they did on March 15. Yes, three times fewer! While they believed they were fighting for justice, truth, and ideals, Vučić sharply contradicted them, claiming that the students won and the blockaders lost.
While the blockades wreaked havoc, Vučić was talking with young people in the park about the future, the exams students have on Tuesday, and how the state will not allow violence. “Thanks to the citizens for the huge support,” said the president, while the streets of Belgrade turned into a battlefield between blockaders and police.
Of course, Kurir was on the scene, filming fights and chaos, while analysts warned that Serbia’s enemies are trying to turn children against each other. “This is the true picture of a colored revolution,” said one interviewee, while extremists allegedly prepared serious chaos in the city center.
And while Vučić played chess on Instagram, showing he is two moves ahead of everyone, the streets were burning. Is this really the end of the blockades? Or just the start of a new wave of conflicts? One thing is certain – Serbia is in the spotlight, and everyone is watching who will come out as the winner of this drama.
If you have your own opinion on all this, or maybe a good joke about the blockaders and Vučić, feel free to drop a comment. Let the conversation roll, because there’s no room for boredom here!
