Chaos in Belgrade: Violent Blockaders Attack Police, Six Officers Injured!

Last night, Belgrade turned into a battlefield of chaos rarely seen before! Violent blockaders, labeled by authorities as “foreign mercenaries” aiming to destroy Serbia, organized an illegal gathering starting at 6 PM. The situation escalated around 9 PM when they attacked the police. Six officers were injured in the clashes, which involved throwing stones, flares, and setting containers on fire. Students blocked faculties and clashed with the gendarmerie. Police responded with force and began arrests. Police Director Dragan Vasiljević urged citizens to respect the law and emphasized that the police will maintain public order and peace. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced he will address the nation on Sunday at 11 AM, declaring that in the end, Serbia always wins. This turmoil casts a shadow over the capital’s peace and raises the question of how long violence will remain the way to express dissatisfaction. Got thoughts on this mess?
