The main character is LAPD detective Mark Meachum, played by Jensen Ackles, known for his roles in “Supernatural” and “The Boys.” The plot follows his investigation into the murder of a Department of Homeland Security officer, which leads him to a secret unit with undercover agents from various police branches. Soon, they uncover a sinister conspiracy threatening a million-strong city.

Critics and viewers are divided: Rotten Tomatoes shows 62% positive audience ratings but only 36% from critics. IMDb scores the series at a decent 7.1, with the first episode rated highest at 7.5.
