In Zaporizhia, 17-month-old Adam Buhajov and his mother Sofia were buried after they perished together in a Russian attack. Adam’s great-grandmother Tetjana Tarasevich also died with them. The family lived in a city that is often targeted by Russian forces. Sofia’s mother, Julia, expresses grief over the loss of her family members. Although they tried to find safety, Sofia returned to Ukraine where she gave birth to Adam. Julia and her husband Serhij believe that Ukraine must continue to fight against Russia.
