Slovaks Furious Over Kanye West Concert in Bratislava: Petition Against Hitler Glorification

Kanye West in Bratislava? Slovaks Are Furious!

American rapper Kanye West, known for his controversies, is back in the spotlight — but not for his music. In May, he released a song glorifying Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, and now he plans to perform at a rap festival in Bratislava this July. Yes, you read that right — Bratislava!

A Petition Shaking Slovakia

Immediately after the concert announcement, a petition against his performance was launched in Slovakia. More people have signed this petition than you might expect, and the reason is clear: Kanye is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and openly uses symbols associated with one of the darkest periods in modern history. Festival organizers call his performance a “global sensation” and one of the few confirmed European shows this year, but Slovaks see it as an insult to their history and the victims of the Nazi regime.

The Song ‘Heil Hitler’ — Banned but Available?

The song that sparked outrage is titled “Heil Hitler” and is banned on all major social media platforms. However, it was available for some time on the Xu platform, where dozens of black people chant the song’s title while Kanye raps about his “struggle” over custody with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The song ends with a clip of Hitler’s speech, which many found shocking and unacceptable.

Why Bratislava? Why Now?

While the world struggles with the consequences of history and tries to prevent the glorification of hate, Bratislava decided to host this artist. Organizers claim it’s an opportunity for a global sensation, but Slovaks and many others see it as a disgrace and insult. The petition clearly states: Kanye West’s concert in our city and country is an insult to historical memory, glorification of wartime violence, and belittling of all victims of the Nazi regime.

Kanye West — Genius or Provocateur?

Kanye is known for unpredictable behavior and controversies, but this crosses all lines. Can someone who glorifies Hitler and uses Nazi symbols be invited to perform in Europe? Is this freedom of art or playing with fire? Slovaks say — no, thank you!

What Do You Think?

Is Kanye West’s concert in Bratislava just another marketing stunt or a serious insult? Should art have limits? If you have an opinion, maybe it’s time to share it — because this is not just a concert, it’s a matter of respect for history and victims.

If you’re already angry or confused, drop a comment, share a sarcastic meme, or just say what you think — because these things shouldn’t go unnoticed!
