Imagine this: Alisha Lehmann, a Swiss footballer and one of the most beautiful athletes in the world, boasts a staggering 16.7 million followers on Instagram and 12 million on TikTok. Yes, you read that right! Millions of people follow her every move, yet she claims to spend the least time on her phone among her teammates. How is that even possible? While the rest of us are glued to our screens for hours, Alisha says she can’t sit in front of her phone all day. At 26, she wants to live a real life — with friends, family, and experiences, not just through a screen.
In an interview with Swiss Blick, Lehmann revealed that her social media posts aren’t the result of long-term planning. She simply snaps a photo, posts it, and that’s it. It takes two seconds, just like anyone else. Despite being active online, she naps for three hours every afternoon, makes herself a snack, plays Fortnite, or watches Netflix.
The Swiss national team player also shared that she almost never uses her phone when she’s with family in Bern or traveling. Sometimes, she doesn’t even know where her phone is!
While many footballers and influencers live for social media, Alisha Lehmann proves you can have millions of followers and still be normal, not a slave to the screen. Maybe it’s time we all put down our phones and start living real life? Or will we keep staring at screens while life passes us by?
