Attention pensioners! Pension payments for June 2025 are about to start and will be made in three phases lasting until July 10. The first in line are self-employed pensioners, who will receive their money right at the start of the payments. But wait, agricultural and military pensioners have to wait until July 5, and employed pensioners until July 10, when the payments officially end. Does that sound fair? Payments will be made to current accounts, home addresses, or at post office counters, meaning several options but also potential queues. Looks like someone cleverly planned how to make pensioners wait and get frustrated! Did you know that in Germany, pensions are calculated based on pension points, with the current value of one point being 40.79 euros? Five years of work with an average salary in Germany yields about 204 euros gross monthly pension. In Serbia, however, pensioners receive payments in phases, and many wonder if this is fast and fair enough. While pensioners wait, Germany has a calculator that tells you exactly how much you will get. Isn’t it time for Serbia to introduce a more transparent system? Or will we keep watching pensioners wait for their hard-earned money? If you have thoughts on this pension payment chaos, feel free to share — maybe together we can change things!
