Ibrahimović Nominated as President of Bosniak Party: New Era or Old Trick?

Ervin Ibrahimović has been officially nominated as the president of the Bosniak Party at the recently concluded main board meeting, where all 11 party boards supported him. The meeting was held in Plav, and the party congress is scheduled for July 6 in Podgorica. Ibrahimović currently serves as the chairman of the party’s Foreign Affairs Committee. While the Bosniak Party prepares for changes, Montenegro faces numerous challenges – from the absence of tourists from the Middle East, protests by citizens over inadequate government responses, to issues with traffic and environmental concerns.

But let’s get back to Ibrahimović – is he really the new leader who will bring change, or just another figure in the political game? All boards supported him, which might mean strong consensus but also no alternative. The July congress could be a turning point for the Bosniak Party and Montenegro’s political scene.

Meanwhile, citizens of Cetinje continue to block the road at Kruševo Ždrijelo, protesting the inadequate response to two mass murders in the city. These protests have been ongoing for months and will continue until the authorities respond properly. This is just one of many problems Montenegro faces, while political games continue to dominate the media space.

Will Ibrahimović manage to tackle all these challenges? Or will he become part of the system that citizens trust less and less? Time will tell. What do you think about the new president of the Bosniak Party? Is he the right person for change or just another politician? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s for and who’s against!
