Another Kosovo Fail: Parliament Still Not Formed After 39 Attempts!

Kosovo Parliament Stuck in a Never-Ending Loop: 39th Attempt to Form Assembly Fails!

Who still believes in miracles in Kosovo? The Kosovo parliament members have once again proven that forming the assembly is mission impossible! On the 39th attempt, they failed to secure enough votes to elect the commission, president, and vice-president. Out of 95 present, only 53 voted in favor, none against, none abstained, but it still wasn’t enough. The presiding officer Avni Dehari called off the session and announced it will continue only on July 1st.

Who’s to blame?

The Democratic Party of Kosovo, Democratic League, Serbian List, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo coalition neither proposed members for the election commission nor participated in the vote. They accuse the presiding officer of abusing his powers and not following the agreed procedures.

Why does this matter?

Without a constituted assembly, Kosovo remains without a functional government, further complicating an already tense political situation. This deadlock could impact regional stability and relations with neighbors.

What’s next?

The session continuation is scheduled for July 1st, but after 39 failed attempts, the question remains: will anything change? Will political parties finally find common ground or keep playing this endless game?

Conclusion

Kosovo’s parliament is in deep crisis, and the citizens suffer the most. While politicians play their games, the country stands still. Got a better idea? Share it — maybe you’ll be the one to break this vicious cycle!

PS: Thought this was just another boring political story? Think again. This is a real drama with thriller elements, just without a happy ending… yet.
