Zelensky: Ukraine Fully Synchronizes Sanctions with EU Against Russia and Iran

Imagine this – Ukraine has officially synchronized its sanctions with the European Union against Russia and Iran! Yes, you read that right. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed in a video address that Ukrainian institutions have already started implementing the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council to align sanctions with the EU. This means the 13th and 14th EU sanction packages against Russia will be fully synchronized with Ukrainian measures. But wait, there’s more – sanctions against the Iranian regime will be 100% synchronized!

For those thinking Iran is far away and irrelevant, Zelensky made it clear that the Iranian regime is one of the most brutal in the world, and it’s no surprise that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin found common ground with them. The sanctions target a large number of entities connected to military production and external terrorist plans against neighbors in the region. In short, Ukraine is fighting not only on the battlefield but also in the diplomatic arena, coordinating moves with powerful allies.

The decision to synchronize sanctions was made on June 27, and Ukrainian institutions immediately sprang into action. This is a clear signal that Ukraine does not plan to back down under pressure from Russia and its allies. As the war in Ukraine continues, sanctions are becoming harsher and more coordinated, further isolating Moscow and Tehran on the international stage.

So, while Russia tries to shoot down Ukrainian drones over its territories, Ukraine and the EU are applying pressure that cannot be ignored. What do you think? Will this synchronization of sanctions finally force Putin to change course, or will it only escalate the conflict? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s for or against this diplomatic offensive!
