Hellish Heat and Meteorological Chaos in Serbia: Are We Ready for Hell on Earth?

Today in Serbia, expect mostly sunny and warm weather, but don’t be fooled — meteorologists warn that temperatures will soon soar to a hellish 38 degrees Celsius! The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of Serbia reports that winds will be light to moderate, but occasionally strong in the east and mountainous areas, calming down in the afternoon and evening. Morning temperatures will range from 14 to 19 degrees, while daytime highs will reach up to 33 degrees. Early in the week, expect the thermometer to jump to 32-34 degrees, and later in the week, most places will face a scorching heatwave with temperatures between 35 and 38 degrees! And if that’s not enough, late in the week, local showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the hilly and mountainous areas of western and southwestern Serbia.

But wait, there’s more! Biometeorological conditions are so unfavorable that they can seriously affect people with fluctuating blood pressure and asthmatics. Headaches, muscle pain, irritability, and meteoropathic reactions are on the menu. And in traffic? Extra caution is needed as a yellow meteorological alarm is in effect for most of Serbia, with an orange alarm in the east and southeast due to dangerously high temperatures. In other words, the weather is literally life-threatening!

While we’re roasting under the sun, political tensions are boiling over. Šešelj and Petrović are arguing about violence and plans to overthrow the regime, while fights and chaos are being recorded on the streets of Belgrade. All this while meteorologists warn of the impending hellish heatwave. Is this a recipe for chaos? Looks like it.

Dr. Borović advises on how to prepare for these unusual heatwaves, and Dr. Ristić even shares his agony and how he “resurrected” after the hellish heat. If you think this is just another ordinary summer heat, think again — this is a real meteorological hell that can throw you off balance.

So, what are you waiting for? Turn off those air conditioners, put on light clothes, and get ready for a real battle with nature and society. And if you have your own tips or have survived such heatwaves before, drop a comment below — let’s laugh or rage together, because clearly, we need some humor to survive this meteorological chaos!
