Goran Bogdan is no ordinary actor. While most of us struggle to get into just one college, he enrolled in eight! Yes, you read that right – EIGHT faculties! Before finally deciding to pursue acting, this 44-year-old actor dabbled in economics, traffic engineering, construction, mechanical engineering, and more. The man is literally an academic nomad!
Born in Široki Brijeg, after high school he moved to Zagreb where he first enrolled in the Faculty of Economics. But that wasn’t enough for him. He signed up for other faculties, completed a three-year traffic course, and then finally found his true passion – acting. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb and today is considered one of the most promising young actors.
But that’s not all! Goran is also known for his lifestyle – he has three homes: in Široki Brijeg, Zagreb, and Belgrade. He says he especially loves Belgrade and feels at home there. With his partner Jovana Stojiljković, who is 11 years younger, he lives in Belgrade and they have a daughter together.
This actor is a true example that it’s not shameful to search for your path and change directions until you find what truly fulfills you. And if you thought it was easy, just think about how much time and energy he invested in finding himself.
