Fires in Podgorica: Chaos, Irresponsibility, and a Burned Hangar

Podgorica is burning, and the authorities claim everything is under control! But is it really? While Mayor Saša Mujović repeats that the fires in the neighborhoods of Kokoti, Ćemovsko Polje, and the municipalities of Tuzi and Zeta have been brought under control, one of our fellow citizens lost an entire hangar with vehicles inside!

DPS councilor Stefan Ćulafić does not hold back, accusing the firefighting efforts of irresponsible and unprofessional management. While the authorities boast, the reality is brutal – the entire building was destroyed, and this is not the only fire that has hit Podgorica and its surroundings.

Firefighters from Nikšić and Bar, along with the Ministry of Interior’s aviation helicopter unit, tirelessly fight the flames, but the wind and human negligence create a nightmare. The mayor urges citizens to refrain from activities that could cause or spread fires, and reports of intentional arson are on the rise.

At the same time, a large fire rages near Grbavci and the source of Bolje Sestre, where firefighters are engaged with four vehicles and eight firefighters, supported by air units. The cause? It is believed that human factors are again to blame.

This chaos is not just a natural disaster but a consequence of irresponsibility and poor management. While property is lost and lives are endangered, the authorities try to calm the situation, but it seems the reality is much worse than admitted.

If you think this is just another ordinary fire, think again. This chaos is a warning – will we allow irresponsibility and poor management to lead to even greater disasters?

What do you think? Did the authorities really have the situation under control, or is this just another show for the public? Share your thoughts; maybe your criticism will spark change!
