Er Serbia Smashes Records: Two Million Passengers Flown Before June Ends!
Did you know that our national airline, Er Serbia, has already flown two million passengers this year? And not in July like last year, but by the end of June! Yes, you read that right – two million people chose Er Serbia for their flights, and much earlier than ever before.
What does this mean?
This number is no accident. It’s a clear sign that Er Serbia’s strategy is working and that the company has positioned itself as a leader in the region. Jiří Marek, the CEO of Er Serbia, proudly states this as proof they are on the right track.
New flights, new faces
Er Serbia didn’t stop there. In the first half of the year, the destination network expanded by six new routes! For the first time ever, the Serbian national airline flies direct to Shanghai, Mykonos, Algiers, and Tbilisi. Flights to Florence and Geneva were also reintroduced after a pause.
A stronger fleet than ever
To boost passenger experience, Er Serbia introduced two new aircraft – a wide-body Airbus A330-200 and a narrow-body Embraer E195. That means more comfort, more seats, and better service for all of us.
Premium counters and social responsibility
At Belgrade airport, premium check-in counters for business class passengers have been opened, meaning faster and smoother check-ins. But Er Serbia isn’t just about profit – the company donated old uniforms to institutions helping children and youth, and even enabled children from socially vulnerable families to fly for the first time.
Eco-friendly moves
In cooperation with Srbijašume, Er Serbia planted oak and ash trees in Košutnjak, showing they care about the environment.
What’s next?
President Vučić expects Er Serbia to fly a total of 4.7 million passengers this year. If they keep this pace, it’s totally doable!
Bottom line
Er Serbia isn’t just flying high, it’s flying fast! With new destinations, a modern fleet, and social responsibility, this company proves it can be Serbia’s pride and a regional leader.
