Tonino Picula and the Serbian Blockades: Who’s Really on the People’s Side?

Tonino Picula, Blockades, and Serbia’s Future: Who’s Crazy Here?

Have you ever thought that a European Parliament member could act like Croatia’s ambassador to Serbia? Welcome to the world of Tonino Picula, the man who never stops provoking and dividing our people! Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski didn’t hold back and clearly told him: “Let Picula mind his own Croatia!” Because, as she says, he acts not as a European representative but as a protector of ethnic cleansing and persecution of Serbs.

Blockades Dividing the Nation

While Serbia suffers from blockades of roads, bridges, and universities, the police have been busy. Colonel Željko Brkić revealed that during just one night, 44 people were detained, and a total of 76 in two days, for misdemeanors and criminal offenses. The police had to act but showed restraint — force is used only when there is no other option.

Why are these blockades happening at all? Đurđević Stamenkovski claims these are young people, misled by ideas, who don’t understand that blockades are not a legitimate form of political struggle. “Civil disobedience ends the moment it infringes on others’ freedom,” she says.

European Commission Silent?

While Serbia chokes on blockades and tensions, the European Commission announces an investigation into excessive use of force at protests. But Đurđević wonders — why didn’t they react to incidents in Kosovo, where Serbs can’t even speak up?

Politics Without Clear Vision

According to her, the blockaders have no clear policy, only spreading hatred and division. Such a society cannot establish normal communication. And while all this happens, President Vučić hesitates to call elections because he clearly feels his power is not solid.

Police and State — Who Protects Whom?

Colonel Brkić emphasizes that the state trusts the police and that the legal order is maintained lawfully and professionally. But is that enough when the people are divided and the youth lose faith in their country?

Conclusion: Who’s the Real Enemy?

Is it the blockades and young people seeking change? Or politicians and European officials who don’t understand the Serbian reality? Tonino Picula’s statements only add fuel to the fire. And Serbia? It’s burning while everyone watches.

If you thought politics was boring, think again. Drop a comment, tell us what you think — is it time for Serbia to wake up or should we keep watching everything fall apart?
