Traditional foods are now luxury; prices are high.

The price of pork cracklings has reached 1,600 dinars per kilogram, while cream costs 1,400 dinars. These products were once considered poor people’s food, but now they are symbols of luxury and are often sold by the gram. Sellers notice that despite the high prices, consumers still buy them, although in smaller quantities. Prices of local products have increased compared to the previous year, but demand remains stable.
