Imagine being a nurse or technician in Montenegro — the backbone of the healthcare system, yet ignored for years! Yes, you read that right. These heroes face tough working conditions, health risks, and worst of all — salaries often below the minimum wage! Their pay is on average 10% lower than other employees with the same qualifications. How is this possible? The job complexity coefficient, which should reflect expertise, responsibility, and working conditions, is shamefully low for them. While the healthcare system struggles under pressure, these people remain neglected and invisible. The Healthcare Union of Montenegro has raised its voice and announced a protest on July 3 at Vektra Square. They demand an increase in the coefficient from 6.58 to 7.50, which would allow them a dignified life, security, and the chance to stay in the country. Because every lost staff member is not just a loss for healthcare but for society as a whole. Will the authorities finally hear this alarm? Or will we keep watching our heroes leave? If you care about the health and future of Montenegro, maybe it’s time to ask — who do we really value? What do you think? Is this an injustice that must be urgently fixed or just another story without an ending? Drop a comment, let the voices of those who care be heard!
