New Bar Bari Ferry Line: A Lifeline for Montenegrin Tourism or Just Empty Promises?

The new Bar-Bari ferry line has finally been established and will operate starting from early September, announced Maritime Minister Filip Radulović. The Montenegrin government is boasting this line as a major success and a significant step in developing the country’s maritime infrastructure. The line was set up in cooperation with the renowned Croatian carrier Jadrolinija and promises safety and sustainability for passenger and cargo transport. Radulović claims that every new line contributes to strengthening the economy, boosting tourism, and opening new opportunities for citizens and businesses. Previously, lines such as Budva-Dubrovnik and Kotor-Dubrovnik were opened, and soon the Bar-Ancona line will be launched. However, while the government celebrates, citizens wonder how much this line will truly change the state of Montenegrin tourism and economy. Is this just another political story or a real breakthrough? In any case, the Bar-Bari line is here, and it remains to be seen whether it will meet expectations or end up as another unused potential. What do you think? Will this line bring a real revolution or just another drop in the ocean of promises? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s optimistic and who’s skeptical!
