More than 200 earthquakes have been recorded around the island of Santorini over 48 hours, causing concern among authorities and scientists. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a meeting with representatives of the relevant services due to the increased seismic activity. The earthquakes are mostly of magnitude 3.5 Richter or less, but the strongest was 5.2 degrees. Authorities have advised the closure of schools and the avoidance of gatherings.
