A citizen of Kyrgyzstan, Ž.M. (24), was arrested on suspicion of hitting a woman, R.LJ. (74), with an electric bicycle at a pedestrian crossing in New Belgrade, causing her serious life-threatening injuries, including a skull fracture and brain contusion. The incident occurred on January 31, and the suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours by order of the prosecutor’s office. It is suspected that he ran a red light at the traffic signal.
