Imagine this – Milan from Sombor is heading to the sea, and halfway there, he loses his car’s license plate! Yes, you read that right. Instead of enjoying his vacation, this unlucky Serb became the main topic on social media, but not because of sympathy, rather due to brutal criticism and sarcastic comments.
It all started when Milan shared his misfortune in the popular Facebook group “Greece Info.” He lost his plate somewhere between Macedonia and Greece and asked people for help. Instead of support, he got roasted: “Maybe when you put the plate on, you should tighten two screws, not use duct tape!” – said the “well-meaning” commentators.
But it wasn’t all black and white. Some gave useful advice: “If you don’t find the plate, when you get home don’t say you lost it abroad, the police will make trouble. Write your phone number on the back of the plate, make a copy, and keep driving.”
This situation is just another proof of how ready our people are to mock and criticize instead of helping. Vacation is stressful enough, and such mishaps only make things worse.
