In Cusco, tunnels link Korikancha to Sacsayhuaman.

Archaeological studies in Cusco have uncovered an underground labyrinth that could confirm ancient sources about the Inca civilization. Researchers Jorge Calero Flores and Mildred Fernández Palomino discovered a tunnel system over 1,700 meters long, connecting the Korikancha temple and the Sacsayhuamán fortress. The tunnels, reconstructed using sound tests and geo-radar, confirm the significant size and technical precision of Inca construction. Although there are doubts about their existence, a new phase of research is planned, pending further developments.
