Arrested for Plotting Violent Government Overthrow in Serbia: Planned Attack on Government with 30 People and Weapons!

Shocking Discovery in Belgrade!

On June 26, the High Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade announced the arrest of several individuals suspected of preparing a violent overthrow of the government in the Republic of Serbia. Among those arrested are Ivan M., Novica A., Branko M., Aleksandar I., Vidan K., and Srđan G. Two of them are also charged with unauthorized possession of firearms.

Planning an Attack on the Government with 30 People!

Security analyst Božo Spasić revealed that the arrested individuals were under full surveillance by security services from the moment their plans were discovered. They could do nothing as they were monitored 24/7. The most terrifying part? They planned to form illegal groups of up to 30 people to attack the government! This is not some story about students or harmless protesters – among them are criminals armed with weapons.

Criminal Charges and Detention Measures

All suspects face charges of preparing acts against the constitutional order and security of Serbia, as well as inciting violent change of the constitutional order. Ivan M. and Branko M. are additionally charged with illegal production, possession, and trafficking of weapons and explosives.

The High Court in Belgrade ordered detention for most suspects, while Stefan T. (20) was placed under house arrest with electronic monitoring for allegedly inciting violent change of the constitutional order. The prosecution plans to appeal this decision.

Security Expert on the Seriousness of the Case

Božo Spasić, with years of experience fighting internal and external terrorism, states he hasn’t seen such a case in a long time. He emphasizes that the arrested are well known to security services and that citizens should not worry because all those planning such illegal activities will be arrested.

What Does This Mean for Serbia?

This revelation casts a shadow over Serbia’s political stability. Planning a violent government overthrow with weapons and a large group sounds like a thriller movie plot, but it’s reality. Is this just the tip of the iceberg? Who is behind these plans? And how will the authorities respond to such threats?
