Assassination Attempt on Presidential Candidate in Colombia

Conservative senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe was seriously wounded during a campaign rally in Bogota when a minor attacker opened fire. Uribe was hit twice in the head and once in the knee and was urgently hospitalized. The attacker was arrested, and the motives for the attack are still being determined. Two other people were injured in the incident.
