Ružin Trn: The Bar Hard Rock Band That Waited 45 Years for Its Moment!

Their first concert with exclusively original material was held in August 1981 in the hall of the Cultural Center in Bar.

Although they were the first Montenegrin band to perform at the Zaječar Guitar Festival and won an award for the best song with revolutionary themes, their career did not get the deserved boost. Negotiations with the PGP RTB record label failed because the label demanded the band relocate to Belgrade, which did not happen. Their last concert in Bar was as an opening act for Riblja Čorba, but they never released an album.
45 Years Later – “Duša dobošu”! Hold on tight! The Bar record label Mediteran Multimedia has finally released the album “Duša dobošu” – a collection of studio live recordings from 1981-1983. The album features 12 compositions that were the backbone of their repertoire. This release is a tribute to the late band members, guitarist Novak Brajović and drummer Amir Ibrahimbegović.
Promotion and the Return of a Legend The album promotion is scheduled for July 9th as part of the Bar Summer Festival, on the new stage in front of the Cultural Center.
