Wild Streets of Belgrade: Attack on Blockaders and Vučić’s Calculated Move

The streets of Belgrade are turning into a wild battleground, starring blockaders and the thugs attacking them! Yesterday in New Belgrade, a brutal assault took place on a man who tried to remove an illegal barricade. The Belgrade Public Prosecutor’s Office immediately ordered the police to identify and prosecute the attackers for hooliganism. The viral video shows several men surrounding and viciously beating the driver of a Škoda, smashing the rear window to pieces. Is this the new level of street savagery or just the peak of government silence?

President Aleksandar Vučić, meanwhile, is playing a cold game. In an interview with TV Informer, he admitted some people are mad at him for not cracking down harder on the blockades that paralyzed cities. But Vučić insists his leniency was a conscious choice — to avoid regretting harsh repression later. “People don’t want a Serbia where they don’t know where they can go, or if they can take their kids to kindergarten or school,” he said, adding that the number of blockaders in cities was a measly 20 to 22 people.

This situation is a ticking time bomb! On one side, violence is spreading through the streets with brutal attacks and smashed cars. On the other, the president is balancing between peace and authority while the public loses patience. Will Belgrade soon become a lawless city? Or will the government finally put a stop to the violence? What do you think? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s for chaos and who’s for order!
