Belgrade has turned into a battlefield of blockades lasting for weeks! Instead of freedom of expression, citizens face violence against their city. Overturned trash bins, scattered garbage, blocked trams, and total traffic collapse — this is the daily reality in Serbia’s capital. People are forced to walk to work because public transport is paralyzed. All this chaos stems from illegal blockades that started back in December last year and peaked after protests on June 29, Vidovdan. The blockers, claiming to fight for rights, are actually holding their fellow citizens hostage and making life unbearable. Instead of dialogue and clear demands, they offer only destruction and chaos. City cleaning workers tirelessly clear the mess left behind, but the problem persists. Citizens ask — how much longer? Who will pay for the damage? Will the blockers ever take responsibility or just shrug off their vests and say, “We’re done”? Belgrade belongs to all of us, not to a group that thinks it can destroy it under the guise of democracy. If you’re fed up with the chaos and trash, maybe it’s time to ask — who do these blockades really serve? What do you think? Drop a comment, maybe together we’ll find a solution or at least get a good laugh out of this madness!
