Last night, Belgrade exploded into the epicenter of urban music! The Belgrade Music Week, the biggest festival of the new music wave in the region, kicked off spectacularly at Ušće, with 40,000 people soaking in an unforgettable show. The organizers from Skymusic spared no expense – a massive stage 22 meters high and 50 meters wide, 250 square meters of LED screens, pyrotechnics, and special effects created a multimedia spectacle that will be talked about for months.
The night was marked by a huge surprise – performances by regional stars Jala Brat and Buba Corelli, who used Ušće as a platform to announce their first solo concert at the Belgrade Arena in December. The crowd was in a trance from hits like “Puma” and “Ele Ele”.
Performances by Sajfer, Elena, Rimski Amp Corona, and Teodora further heated up the atmosphere, with Teodora premiering her new song “Zmija”. The night closed with the energetic Inas, leaving Belgrade breathless.
But this is just the beginning! The festival runs until June 30, with spectacular performances by Relja, Devito, Cobi, and Senidah still to come. Tickets are available via the Efinity app, the efinity.rs website, and at sales points across Belgrade.
However, not everything went smoothly – due to parental concerns and announced traffic blockades, the program for Saturday, June 28, was moved to Monday, June 30. All ticket holders for Saturday can use their tickets on Monday or request a refund by July 4.
Belgrade has proven it can be the center of the urban music galaxy, and Belgrade Music Week is proof that regional pop culture has the power to break boundaries. If you missed it, get ready for the coming days – this is a festival you won’t forget!
So, what do you think? Is this the best music spectacle in recent years or just another festival with too much noise? Drop a comment, spark a debate, and tell us who your favorite on stage is!
