Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, and several other Serbian cities have turned into the epicenter of total traffic chaos! Small groups of students and citizens have decided to block key intersections and streets, creating kilometer-long traffic jams. From Brankova Street, through Zeleni Venac, to King Alexander Boulevard and the Duga Bridge in Novi Sad — traffic has literally come to a standstill. Students refuse to back down, citizens support them, and the traffic collapse has lasted for days!
In Belgrade, the roundabout near Bogoslovija, the intersection of Roosevelt and Queen Maria streets, as well as Ustanička and Svetogorska streets, are blocked. In Novi Sad, the Sloboda and Klisi bridges are closed, disrupting suburban bus transport to nearby towns like Beočin and Ruma. Niš, Čačak, and Gornji Milanovac are not spared either — main intersections and highways are blocked there as well.
This blockade is not just a protest — it’s a traffic war! Drivers are stuck in traffic jams for hours, and public transport is in chaos. Students and citizens keep crossing the streets non-stop, causing a complete standstill. Is this a fight for rights or just plain rudeness? While the authorities remain silent, cities are suffocating in blockades. If you thought traffic in Serbia was bad, now it’s a nightmare!
While some wonder when this will end, others ask — is this the start of a new era of civil disobedience? If you have something to say about this chaos, drop a comment — maybe your word will break the silence in this traffic madness!
