Serbia holds a cold swim event for Epiphany each year.

Epiphany swimming for the Holy Cross is traditionally celebrated across Serbia, including Belgrade, where it takes place at multiple locations. In Belgrade, the water temperatures are 2.8°C in the Danube and 5.2°C in the Sava. The event in Čukarica begins with a liturgy, and swimmers from various groups, including the military and civilians, participate in swimming in the cold waters of Ada Ciganlija, where the temperature is around 5°C.
