Matt Damon has withdrawn from the film “Animals” due to being occupied with filming director Christopher Nolan’s movie “Odyssey.” Although he will not act, he remains a producer. Ben Affleck will take over the leading role, and the screenplay is written by Billy Ray and Connor McIntyre. Filming begins in April in Los Angeles, but the premiere date on Netflix is unknown. The film follows the story of a mayoral candidate whose son is kidnapped, and the couple must face numerous enemies to rescue him.
Matt Damon left ‘Animals’ for another film. Ben Affleck directs.
