Central banks cut rates; dollar rise hurts companies.

Major central banks, including the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, and the Reserve Bank of India, have reduced interest rates by a quarter of a percentage point to stimulate economic growth. The United States Federal Reserve (Fed) is still uncertain about implementing the planned interest rate cuts for 2025, while the U.S. dollar has strengthened, negatively affecting companies like Amazon. Amazon has experienced a decline in stock value due to weaker revenue forecasts but has announced an investment of 100 billion.
