In the port of Latakia, one of the largest drug warehouses used by the regime of the ousted Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, under the command of his brother Maher al-Assad, has been discovered. Journalists from the Turkish Anadolu Agency documented large quantities of drugs, including Captagon, hidden in various items. The warehouse was used for the production and packaging of drugs for export, through which the Syrian regime earned billions of dollars.
